Each spring OAFP asks fourth-year Ohio medical students to submit their personal statements that were written for application to family medicine residency programs. A panel of OAFP members reviews these statements and selects one for publication in the summer issue of The Ohio Family Physician.

The Ohio Academy of Family Physicians (OAFP) is one of the largest, most active state chapters of the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP).
